The Savage Stevens 320 Shotgun is one of the most common shotguns among gun owners for home defense. It’s cheap, it’s light and easy to use, and it can pack a powerful punch. In fact, that 12 gauge shotgun is about four times more powerful than most common pistols used for self defense.
We’ve put together a list of our favorite Stevens 320 accessories. Later, we’ll let you know which we think is the best to purchase. Picking out the right Stevens MDL 320 accessories can be a little tricky; the shotgun itself is already at a low price point, so you don’t want to spend an extraordinary amount of money on any Savage 320 accessories, but you also don’t want to purchase cheaply made products that will get beaten up by the shotgun’s strong recoil.
Here are some of the Stevens 320 Shotgun accessories that we think fall into those guidelines.
Materials – The Streamlight TLR 1 Stevens 320 accessories flashlight is a very durable flashlight that clamps quickly to shotgun rails without the use of any tools. It’s made of all black machined aluminum sealed constructions with an anodized finished. It’s capable of being used by both left handed and right handed shooter, and it has mode for pulsing light, permanent light, and on/off. The flashlight gives off 800 lumens of light, and the flashlight itself should last for up to 50,000 hours of use. These Stevens 320 12 gauge accessories are both shockproof and waterproof, and they can last up to thirty minutes in as much as a meter of water.
Performance – The Streamlight TLR 1 Flashlight is a very powerful tool that is a highly advised consideration for home defense. If you really want to fend off a predator (which will likely be at night or in the dark), you’ll need a powerful flashlight to blind them, and 800 lumens will do the trick! The shock proof guarantee is really important too, since the Stevens 320 recoil is so strong. As far as performance of this Stevens 320 review, our only complaint is the batteries will be a little expensive to replace. This is really a very quality flashlight!
What we say – Like we said, we highly advise anyone using a shotgun for home defense invests in a flashlight. The Streamlight TLR 1 goes from $120-$150 online, so the price is a bit high for a flashlight. You may not necessarily need one with such powerful illumination, but you are going to need a sturdy piece for it to be one of your Stevens MDL 320 accessories. At least, with this investment, you’ll know you’re also purchasing an accessory that can be installed onto other firearms quickly and easily.
- Shockproof and waterproof
- 800 lumens of light
- Easy installation for use on multiple firearms
- High price
- Costly battery replacement
- C4 LED delivers 12,000 candela peak beam intensity; 800 lumens

Materials – The Condor TSRS Shotshell Strip is great for Savage Stevens 320 12 gauge pump-action shotgun accessories. It’s an all black material with a full Velcro backing, which can attach to any type of Velcro brand surface. It has six elastic bands for holding your Stevens 320 shotgun shells. The band is six and a half inches long and two inches wide. It also comes with a loop on one side to hook onto a Stevens 320 stock. Just to make it more appealing, it’s made in the United States. This is a really basic accessory that could save your life in a home defense situation.
Performance – This is one of the most basic life-saving Stevens Model 320 accessories you can purchase. The Condor TSRS Shotshell Strip is very adaptable, so you can set it up in a position that will be most comfortable to you to access those extra shells: It can attach to the shotgun itself, or you can attach it by Velcro to anywhere on your body that will hold it. That’s the one complaint though: the whole back is hooked Velcro, so you have to have the complementing Velcro side for wearing it anywhere on the body. For many gun owners, this means purchasing an additional piece and increasing their costs. Otherwise, it easily gets the job done.
What we say – The Condor TSRS Stevens Shotshell Strip only costs around fifteen bucks online, so purchasing any additional Stevens Model 320 accessories for attachment isn’t too costly. It will still loop onto any Stevens 320 stocks, so additional purchases aren’t necessarily required. Similar to the flashlight accessory, a shotshell strip can be an essential piece for defending your home.
- Low cost
- Versatility in wearing it
- Simple and efficient
- Mostly Velcro isn’t ideal
- Carries 6 shotgun shells
- Hook backside for attachment to any hook and loop surfaces
- Designed with Roman Tactical. Made in the USA
Materials – If you’re looking for shotgun sling with a little more “oomph,” we suggest the Ace Case Savage Stevens 320 accessories ammo sling. This accessory is made of black nylon, and it attaches in two places on the shotgun for slinging over the shoulder. The ammo loops are made of elastic, and they can hold up to twenty five shotgun shells at a time. This United States-made Stevens shotgun sling easily attaches to 1” swivels, and it also has a unique gripping ring for those act-fast situations.
Performance – If you really want to carry extra ammo, and a Velcro strip is no good for you, then you’ll definitely want to look into the Ace Case Stevens 320 Ammo Sling. It’s particularly durable – which we mentioned is an important feature in our Savage Stevens 320 12 gauge pump-action shotgun accessories (phew, that’s a mouthful). It attaches easily, and there’s multiple features allowing the sling to be easily grabbed and used. It doesn’t hang too low, so it shouldn’t get in your way much, either. Our one complaint is that it has very little adjustability. Some of us have wider shoulders and bigger statures, and the adjustment straps really don’t add too much extra length. This shouldn’t be a problem for most, but it could be for some, and we want everyone to be able to utilize their purchases.
What we say – If you think you’re going to need a lot of shotgun shells for a period of time, then absolutely invest in the Ace Case Stevens Ammo Sling. It only costs around twenty bucks, and you won’t have to worry about any pesky Velcro attachments. Even if you don’t necessarily need room for that much ammo, having a sling that offers dual purposes is something you might as well invest in, since it’s not costing you any more than a regular sling without ammo loops.
- Low cost
- Unique ring grip
- Holds 25 shells
- Limited adjustment range
- 100% Made in USA, Shotgun Ammo Sling with Gripping Ring and Ammo Loops
- Ammo Loops Hold 25 Shells (20 or 12-Gauge Shells)
- 2" Heavy-Duty Black Nylon, Featuring Unique Rubber Gripping Strips to Help Prevent Slippage
Field Sport Shotgun Mount
Materials – Okay, let’s say you have a lot of Savage 320 accessories that you want to attach. If you love having a flashlight and two different types of lasers all on the same firearm, then you should look into the Field Sport Five Position Shotgun Mount. It’s made of T6 6061 Aluminum construction with a black hard coat anodized finish. It attaches to the barrel of the shotgun, and it has three Picatinny rails per side with five attachment points. It has a narrow clamp structure, so your firearm is taking up minimal additional space and weight.
Performance – The Field Sport Savage Stevens 320 Shotgun Mount isn’t really a necessary accessory, but it definitely comes in handy for anyone with multiple accessories. It’s a very interesting piece that we could let our imaginations run a little wild with. That being said, we did notice one complaint amongst many others who have reviewed this product: the screws are cheap and they need to be replaced. This five position shotgun mount is part of our review because it’s a unique piece that could be worth the purchase, but it will definitely need some tinkering with.
What we say – The Field Sport Five Position Shotgun Mount is a really eye catching accessory that will absolutely come in use. Maybe you need to attach a flashlight, a strobe light, and a laser to your Stevens 320, and you’ll need something like this to do that. These babies cost less than $20, so it could absolutely be worth testing out if you’re considering it.
- Low cost
- 3 Picatinny rails
- 5 attachment points
- Cheap screws needs replacement
Our Top Pick
It’s a no-brainer to us: we say the Streamlight Flashlight is the best accessory to purchase out of this review. Even if we removed all the brands, we would still say a flashlight attachment is one of the most useful and life-saving accessories for home defense. Not only will the Streamlight Flashlight light your way, but it’s an effective tool that can be used to deter home invaders by blinding or distracting them. Anyone who is using their Savage Stevens 320 to defend their home should invest in this flashlight.
